What makes it great?:  
Situated 20 minutes by small speed boat or 'san pan' from Aberdeen ferry pier lies the totally hippy and bohemian island of Lamma. This car free island is a peaceful island inhabited by local Chinese and foreigners who want to escape from the craziness of Hong Kong Island. The Lamma Hilton Seafood restaurant serves up live seafood salt and peppered to perfection on the actual ferry pier for less than $20AUD per person. Good company, salt and pepper squid, chilli mud crab and multiple long necks of Tsing Tao (Chinese beer) makes for a perfect Sunday!
